The tiny house movement is something slowly gaining speed. I actually stumbled onto it via youtube and a series of videos by an individual covering small apartments and other spaces and the space saving renovations they undertook to make them livable. They mentioned this high-schooler building a house on wheels, and I took note but thought nothing of it. Later on I would stumble across news of a whole mini neighbourhood of these buildings being built, and the companies and groups that supported them.
Of all the places I like to look for information, http://tinyhouseblog.com/ provides the greatest assortment of stuff.

As for the six acres, I shall keep the fuzz brigade informed. I first wanted to build upon returning from Ecuador and seeing how they did things there. People would work (perhaps in the US if they could sneak in) and send back money where they would build what they could, when they could. You would see half-finished houses of cement blocks by the roadside where they had completed a lot of something and were living in the building while they waited to work again. I liked the idea of building for something, but land can be expensive as everyone knows.

So I went north. I doubt I shall be doing any work until April at the earliest as the frost and snow must leave my northern abode, but I chose a very furry friendly spot. I have a beaver dam across the creek and active chew marks on nearby bushes. Pillars and posts are the name of the game along with a composting or incinerating toilet since a septic field is not easy to get approved with the water so nearby.

Then popping over to Radio Daddy… Create an account, look in the forums there and post a request for a voiceover and maybe a couple of drops.

Offer up say $20 to $30 and you’ll get plenty of takers that will do both. Supply them with the file from Ear Candee, and tell them what you want. I would suggest…

20 to 30 seconds of music…then a lowered volume on the bed with a voice over like

“You’re listening to the Fuzzy Logic Podcast! Furry Fandom’s [best/hottest/your discriptive word here] advice show! Your hosts are [your names in your preferred order]! Now settle in and tune your brain for FUZZY LOGIC!” [music bed continues to play at lowered volume, so you can talk over it...then just fade it to zero when you are ready

Then for drops... I'd have the same person who does the pro voice over do a couple of simple drops like:

You're listening to Fuzzy Logic!
Brain gone Fuzzy? It will! You're listening to Fuzzy Logic!
You've got questions! We've got answers...lets hope they match! Send your emails to [email address] and we’ll solve your problem…maybe…

Then do an outro…

Also, consider getting a Google Voice account. You can publish the phone number (I would suggest finding one with letters as the last 4 digits like (xxx)-xxx-FUZZ or (xxx)-xxx-YIFF

Have your callers leave voice mails. You can download them and play them on your show.

I did this for my radio show (now defunct – mainly because I no longer have the time) – listeners said it made a huge difference in how professional things sounded.
